Effective date: October 1, 2026 · Last updated: October 7, 2026
1 · The Hulala Promise
Hulala Girls is made for kids 5–12, and the grown-ups reading along. Our promise to families is simple:
- We never ask kids for personal information. No names, no emails, no photos, no sign-ups.
- No accounts, no logins. Kids just play, watch, and explore.
- No ads from other companies on our site, and no tracking. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we never build profiles of kids.
- We never sell information, whether it comes from kids or grown-ups.
- We never use information about kids to train AI.
- Grown-ups are in charge. Questions? Reach us anytime (see Section 2).
2 · Who We Are
Hulala Girls Inc. (“Hulala Girls,” “we,” “us”) operates hulalagirls.com. We are a Delaware corporation and the owner of the Hulala Girls™ characters and stories, created by Christy Hui.
Contact us: Hulala Girls Inc., 2207 Concord Pike #718, Wilmington, DE 19803. Phone: (307) 228-0933 Email: hello@hulalagirls.com
This policy covers hulalagirls.com and the Hulala Girls apps that link to it. When we launch an app, we add a section here explaining exactly how that app works.
This policy is written for parents and guardians. It also covers the licensees, partners, educators, and members of the press who visit our site.
We run our site from the United States.
3 · Kids: We Don’t Ask for Personal Information
We do not ask for or collect personal information from anyone under 18, beyond the basic technical information every website receives (Section 4). Our contact form is for adults and business inquiries only.
- We don’t ask for or collect a child’s name, email, home address, phone number, photo, voice, school, or location.
- What “personal information” means: details that identify or contact a person, like a name, email, or photo. The law also counts some technical information, like an IP address, which we explain in Section 4.
- Kids can’t create accounts, post comments, chat, or upload anything.
- We don’t collect student records or biometric information.
- Like every website, our servers automatically receive basic technical information, such as a device’s IP address, so that pages can load. We use it only to run and protect the site (see Section 4).
- Our contact form is for adults and business inquiries only. If we learn that a child has contacted us, we delete the message promptly without using it.
- Think your child sent us something? Email us at hello@hulalagirls.com, and we’ll delete it promptly.
4 · Technical Information
When anyone visits our site, including a child, our servers automatically receive technical information such as the device’s IP address, browser type, and the page requested.
- We use it only to deliver pages, keep the site secure, block spam and bots, and fix errors.
- We never use it to identify or contact anyone, build profiles, or show ads, and we don’t combine it with other information.
- How we make sure: we don’t install advertising or analytics code on our site. Technical logs are kept by our web host, used only for security and fixing errors, never shared with advertisers, and deleted on schedule (Section 9).
- Do Not Track: we don’t track visitors over time or across other websites. When a video plays, YouTube may collect information under its own policy (see Section 7).
- Cookies: we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our site uses only the small technical files it needs to work properly.
5 · Services We Use
We use authorized service providers and industry-standard tools to host, secure, and protect our website. They may use information only to help us run it. Our videos play through YouTube, which follows its own privacy policy (Section 7).
When We Might Share Information
We never sell or rent information. We share it only:
- When the law requires it: for example, a court order, or to protect the safety of kids, our visitors, and our site.
- If Hulala Girls changes hands: if our company or its assets are sold or merged, any new owner must keep the promises in this policy.
6 · Adults and Businesses
When adults use our website and contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send: your name, email address, company, type of inquiry, and anything you write to us. Before sending the form, you confirm that you are 18 or older and agree that we may use this information to reply to you.
- We use it only to reply to you and to continue our business conversation.
- We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
- We never sell it or share it for advertising.
- The services that help us run the site and block spam handle it for us only (see Section 5).
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it (see Section 2).
7 · Links, Videos and Social Media
Our site links to places we don’t run, such as YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. When you leave our site, that company’s own privacy policy applies.
- Videos: We show YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Our videos are set as “made for kids,” so YouTube turns off personalized ads. YouTube limits the information it collects on made-for-kids videos to what it needs to run its service. When a video plays, YouTube may collect information under its own policy. YouTube may show non-personalized ads on videos it hosts; we don’t choose these ads or earn money from them.
- Social media links are labeled for grown-ups. We don’t add social “like” or “share” buttons that track visitors.
8 · Our Apps and Games
We’re building new Hulala Girls apps and Hulala Girls games. Each one gets its own section here, explaining exactly how it works, before it launches.
9 · How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it according to the authorized vendor’s policy.
| Information | Why we have it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Technical information (server logs) | To run and protect the site | Deleted automatically after 7 days |
| Messages from a child (if any) | Never wanted, received only by accident | Deleted promptly, unused |
| Business inquiries from adults | To reply and work with you | We keep it to maintain business relationships. |
10 · Your Rights as a Parent or Guardian
Because we do not collect information that identifies your child, there is nothing for us to review or delete. However, you can still ask us anytime so we can check and verify. If our records show that we have any information about your child, or have collected information about your child without our knowledge, we’ll delete it and stop any further collection.
To protect your family, we may ask you to confirm your identity and that you are the parent or guardian. Please reach us by mail, phone, or email (see Section 2). We answer every request from a parent or guardian.
11 · Keeping Information Safe
Our site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect information. We limit who can see business inquiries, and we choose service providers that protect the information they handle for us. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.
12 · Changes to This Policy
If we make an important change, we’ll post a notice on our site before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. If we ever want to collect personal information from children, we will ask a parent or guardian for permission first, as the law requires.
